Bios: Darlene Sinclair and Morley Belle
DarleneSinclair is the General Manager for Community Futures Lethbridge Region. Darlene started her Community Futures career working in the Crowsnest Pass as the Marketing/Tourism Coordinator, then moved into Lethbridge as the Economic Development Coordinator. Darlene completed her certificate in Economic Development from the University of Waterloo in 2002. She worked with various town councils, economic and community development committees, assisting them in implementing surveys, strategic planning as well as developing marketing projects to promote these individual communities. Darlene is a past board member of various Chambers of Commerce in Southern Alberta, the Chinook Country Tourist Association, Economic Developers Association of Alberta (EDA), and Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC).
MorleyBelle is the Business Analyst for Community Futures Lethbridge Region. Morley commenced his career in Community Futures thirteen years ago in Red Deer and started with Community Futures Lethbridge in March of 2011. Morley is a graduate of Lethbridge College and the University of Lethbridge. In 2006 he completed his certification as a Certified Business Counsellor through Acadia University’s Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship with business counselling credentials recognized in fifteen countries. Prior to Community Futures Morley was self-employed providing integrated services to the business community in Western Canada. As a business training facilitator Morley has developed and presented many seminars, workshops and training programs to private industry, government and educational environments. He was a contracted national trainer for Chrysler Canada to deliver customer service training throughout Western Canada. Over the last twenty years, Morley has acted as a teacher, coach, counsellor and consultant for over 150 business start-ups.
