Topic: Developmental Assets
The Developmental Assets are 40 common sense, positive experiences and qualities that help influence choices young people make and help them to become caring, responsible and successful adults. They are based in youth development, resiliency and prevention research. The presentation will review the 40 Assets and their importance while considering the impact you can have, as business managers, on staff, customers and community in building assets. You will also see the positive impact that the Assets can have on the health and productivity of your business. Finally, it is hoped to leave you with practical, strengths-based ways to view and interact with children and youth.
