Fortner was born in Lethbridge and raised in the Hamlet of Spring Coulee (50km
south). Mr. Fortner’s mother has been a travelling midwife for 30+ years and
bartered much of her services through business growth and developmental stages.
This taught Colton the value of barter which led me to where he is today. As
Business Development Manager in the Southern Alberta region, Colton has the
opportunity to help local business owners and entrepreneurs leverage their down
time and/or slow-moving inventory in exchange for other products and/or
services to meet their business' needs. BarterPay is Canada's largest and
