Supporting the victims of this violent crime is our priority at MADD Lethbridge & Area and as we are hearing about impaired drivers each and every day across our country we want to work within our community to educate the public to make our roads safe for everyone. Our presentation will show you all the services our Chapter provides here in Southern Alberta and how together we can stop impaired driving.

Anita Huchala is the President and Victim Support Volunteer for MADD Lethbridge & Area. In 2017, Anita began volunteering with MADD Canada and developed the Lethbridge Chapter in March of 2018.  Originally from the Pincher Creek area, Anita lost her grade one teacher to an impaired crash in 1974 and is very passionate about her work with MADD Lethbridge & Area. Anita was voted the "Volunteer of the Year" in 2019 by MADD Canada and is the only Victim Support Volunteer for MADD Canada here in Southern Alberta.
