
Bridget Mearns was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. She holds a MBA in Executive Management from Royal Roads University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Lethbridge, and a French language diploma from the University of Rouen in France.
Bridget has had a varied professional career in the Public service (Federal, Provincial, and Municipal governments), Private (Accounting, Investment Industry, Self Employed), and Non-Profit sectors. From 2009-2018, Bridget worked in the Executive Office at Lethbridge & District Exhibition on their Development Plan. She sat on an advisory board of the Chamber of Commerce and was a member of Team Lethbridge. Bridget was appointed to the Alberta Strategic Tourism Council (an advisory council to the Minister of Tourism) and Chaired the Innovation and Development sub-committee in 2014-2015.
Bridget Mearns served two terms on Lethbridge City Council (2010-2017) and has been the Executive Officer at BILD-Lethbridge Region since March 2018.
